Tuesday Update!

Hi everyone! We’re still in Rome, yesterday we went to Castel Sant’Angelo and later to a museum with Leonardo DaVinci’s inventions, and then to another that overlooks the Forum. It’s all very exciting to see. I still cannot wrap my mind around some of the delicate or small items that have survived since the first century. There was a display of grains and breads that were found in Pompeii. We’ve been there before but it’s still amazing to see. Here’s a picture of the outside of the Castel by the Tiber River and some of the paintings on the ceilings and the Archangel Michael.

Pride kommt nach Foggy Basin. Nun ja, eigentlich gab es das schon immer, aber dieses Jahr gibt es ein offizielles Festival, um es zu feiern. Jack ist begeistert und meldet sich sofort freiwillig, um einen „Nuts and Bolts“-Festwagen für die Parade sowie einen Angelstand im Park vor der Drag-Show zu organisieren. Er ist völlig aus dem Häuschen, und als er Hudson erzählt, dass sie Einhornkostüme tragen werden, zögert Hudson zwar, stimmt dann aber zu – und natürlich werden auch Isaac und Tig mit von der Partie sein.

Jack und Tig haben den Pride schon einmal miterlebt und sind neugierig, was Foggy Basin geplant hat. Die Stadt mag klein sein, aber sie steckt voller Herz und vieler neugieriger Menschen. Darunter sind auch ein paar unbekannte Gesichter, die vielleicht sogar bleiben, nachdem sie den letzten Glitzer von der Straße gefegt haben.

Der Pride ist endlich in der kleinen Stadt Foggy Basin angekommen. Sie ist vor allem für ihre Landwirtschaft und die Menschen bekannt, die dort leben.
