Welcome to the Weekend!

Hi everyone! It’s my first weekend of not having to go to my parents house!!! I really cannot even express how happy I am to not have to go there for a few weeks. I’m one of those people if I need to do something I do it, but afterwards I wonder how the heck I got through it. Going there every week feels that way. I had to put most of my writing projects on hold for five months and now I’m swamped with that. But its a good busy. I’ve missed writing everyday and working on the next project and now I can. At least for the next few weeks then I’ll be going to RARE in Florence Italy! After that we’re headed to Rainbow Bookfest in York UK. I still have two tickets to Rainbow Bookfest, if anyone is attending email me for tickets.

In case you didn’t notice, ALL the Foggy Basin books are out, and now we’re thinking about the Christmas shorts. The Foggy Basin bunch has a lot more to say and more adventures to experience, so come along for the ride. I have two books I started early in the year that I need to finish, but I really want to write something paranormal. Probably from watching more paranormal and horror movies lately. I watched The Lady in the Yard…meh. It wasn’t what I expected at all and its my least favorite kind of story where its all show no content and even the show wasn’t all that great LOL. I watched the golf series with Will Ferrill, The Hawk, it was wild and funny.

Welcome to the Weekend!

Hi everyone! I’m happy to say this is the LAST weekend I have to go to my parents property. We hired a company to haul off everything that was too big for us to handle and had them deep clean the house. I cannot believe how hard it is to get the smell of smoke and general funk out of a house. Hopefully this did the trick. And now I can start deep cleaning my own house because I am getting rid of everything I can.

All of the Foggy Basin books are now live and I’ll be reading every one of them. We’ve been so busy getting our books out I haven’t had the time, but now I will and I’m excited to read them. Then of course we’ll be moving on to our Christmas shorts. I’m not sure how many are participating in the Christmas series but we’ll know soon.

I’m currently still working on a short story for an anthology then after that I’m not sure if I’ll write my Foggy Basin Christmas short or if I’ll finish the two other books I have started LOL.

My husband has collected a LOT of books from my parents house. There are probably close to 1000. He plans to donate them to the little libraries all over the place. I love that part, but not so much the part of them filling my garage.

Weekend Update!

Hi everyone, I have finished Herds and Hooves and am now editing it! Nothing like last minute and I hate it!!!! I really cannot wait to have my time back and not deal with so many other things. That being said I don’t have an update for The Do Over, BUT next week I will for sure.

Weekend Update!

Hi everyone! I still haven’t had time to rebuild my website but hopefully once I’m done writing I can do that. I’m trying to get the last bit of Herds and Hooves finished so there isn’t an update for The Do Over. I miss them already. I really love their story and can’t wait to get back to it.

This week the first Foggy Basin books were released. I am SO excited for this year. I know I keep saying that but it really has been a good one. I’m going to do a special section to share them each week so you won’t miss any. We’re already planning next season, and of course there will be the holiday shorts.

I’m off to my parents again tomorrow for what we all hope is the last time we need to go for a while. There is still furniture and other crap to haul off but by tomorrow the house should FINALLY be clean. It’s been nearly every weekend since March and I cannot believe it’s taken this long. We’ve managed to sell a few things and hoping to sell a bit more. Some things we have no clue what they even are. The amount of Tupperware was craaaazy but like I said it’s nearly done!

This week I managed to watch the first new Ted Lasso episode. This is such a good series and just what I need right now. My son made me watch Backrooms last week and I don’t remember if I mentioned it, but it wasn’t for me. Too much unexplained, and so many spots in the story where nothing happened. I’m catching up with the new season of Silo and hope we get more answers from it.

Weekend Update!
