Tuesday Update!

Hi everyone! I’m trying to organize my packing and I am SO thankful I have a free day tomorrow to make sure I have everything. Traveling out of the country to a book convention is a little daunting. I want to take enough books and swag to make it fun, but not too much that I have to bring home LOL. We’ll also be playing tourist and seeing lots of interesting things in Italy and the UK. I’ll try to post some of our adventures. I’m going to try to keep posting my newsletter, but like I mentioned before it depends how busy we are.

I found a YouTube channel with hauntings that random people record their paranormal experiences. I love them. It’s pretty good, here’s the link if you want to check it out. https://www.youtube.com/@GrandmasNightmares I also started watching the new Merlin series on Prime, I might have mentioned it before, but I like it so far. Oh and I watched Supergirl, loved it. I know some may not, but I liked the new spin but I thought it was entertaining. I haven’t been reading lately which I tend to read a lot then not at all for a few months then I read again, but I will be reading when I’m on the plane, and playing Mahjong on my phone.

Ok now for the good stuff!

Herds and Hooves

Foggy Basin Season Three

https://books2read.com/HerdsandHooves

https://mybook.to/FoggyBasin3

Keith Brooks has lived in Foggy Basin for all of his thirty-eight years and cannot imagine any reason to change that. He’s made a life for himself here trimming cattle hooves and occasionally working as a farrier when one of the nearby horse ranches needs it.

Bart Martin grew up in a suburb of Sacramento. Where conveniences are nearby, and he’s content with his life if not a little lonely and bored. Until he receives a call from his uncle, who lives in a tiny town in northern California that’s barely big enough to be on the map.

Bart is out of his element when he arrives at Foggy Basin during a Pride parade, and after getting lost. Lucky for him, Keith offers to help. He’s not sure he should trust the gruff man with arms the size of tree trunks, but he’s desperate. It’s a small decision that could change both their lives and force this city boy to learn to enjoy a life that he’s never considered.

Welcome to Foggy Basin. Nestled at the base of the foothills in northern California, this small town is full of characters just waiting to tell you their story. Whether you’re just passing through or you decide to stay a while longer, you’ll always find a warm welcome from the townsfolk. From farmers and animal rescues to artists and small business owners. Foggy Basin has it all.

Im Namen des Stolzes: Eine Kurzgeschichte aus „Foggy Basin“

https://books2read.com/u/476X9A

Serie Foggy Basin: https://books2read.com/rl/FbDE

Cole Ryan is bored. He’s lived in the same small town his whole life and has the same job. Nothing changes there and every morning when he goes for a run, those thoughts echo on repeat through his mind. Until today, on this day, something big happens and if he survives it, his life won’t be the same. Maybe boring old Hickory Crossing wasn’t so bad after all.

Driving in the rain, on his way to a delivery, Bobby Sanders is focused on the road, when a flash of blue light in the distance catches his eye. He witnesses a bolt of lightning strike a man running on the road ahead of him. He never suspected that bolt of lightning could change both their lives, not just the poor guy who was blown out of his shoes right in front of him.

When the persistent sound of whispering won’t go away, Cole questions his sanity. But maybe he’s not the only one experiencing strange things.

Tuesday Update!

Hi everyone! Yesterday I had so many plans to get a lot done, then on Saturday night I did not sleep. Or at least I felt like I didn’t. But since I didn’t sleep on Saturday I did sleep on Sunday night.

Anyone else have trouble sleeping the night before they work? I have this almost weekly and I hate it LOL.

Two strangers, drawn together over their work ethic, and sealing the deal over delicious lobster rolls. They could just be the perfect match. A small-town MM Vacation romance.

Tuesday Update (Barely!)

Hi everyone! I KNEW I needed to do my newsletter yesterday and somehow managed to forget to do it. I have two great sales this week if you love paranormal romance. I also have another translation release, and Guy Veryzer just finished Herds and Hooves on audio. It’s been a busy week already and I really have no clue why. I’m going to post my yearly Halloween Book Box hopefully on Thursday. I’m only able to offer it until September 21 because I leave on September 23. I’ll open it again when I get back but that’s not until October 19. I’m not sure if I’ll post it to TikTok shop or only on my PayHip store. Most likely it will only be on my PayHip store.

I got my paperback copies of Herds and Hooves today they turned out so good! I also ordered a few copies of the Vallely Ghosts collection 1 and 2. They are HUGE. I’m actually shocked how chonky they are, but I love it.

Welcome to the Weekend!

Hi everyone! It’s my first weekend of not having to go to my parents house!!! I really cannot even express how happy I am to not have to go there for a few weeks. I’m one of those people if I need to do something I do it, but afterwards I wonder how the heck I got through it. Going there every week feels that way. I had to put most of my writing projects on hold for five months and now I’m swamped with that. But its a good busy. I’ve missed writing everyday and working on the next project and now I can. At least for the next few weeks then I’ll be going to RARE in Florence Italy! After that we’re headed to Rainbow Bookfest in York UK. I still have two tickets to Rainbow Bookfest, if anyone is attending email me for tickets.

In case you didn’t notice, ALL the Foggy Basin books are out, and now we’re thinking about the Christmas shorts. The Foggy Basin bunch has a lot more to say and more adventures to experience, so come along for the ride. I have two books I started early in the year that I need to finish, but I really want to write something paranormal. Probably from watching more paranormal and horror movies lately. I watched The Lady in the Yard…meh. It wasn’t what I expected at all and its my least favorite kind of story where its all show no content and even the show wasn’t all that great LOL. I watched the golf series with Will Ferrill, The Hawk, it was wild and funny.

Waiting for Raine, book #1 of the Comet Lake Chronicles

Waiting for Raine: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BS5FLKFN

Two years ago, a fight with another wolf ruined Gabriel’s chances to pursue Raine as his mate. When he gets an unexpected second chance, Gabriel vows to claim him this time. Unfortunately for him, Raine has different ideas.

Raine is proud to be a lone wolf, a wild one, but he’ll never be a mate. Not unless he can find a wolf who promises he’ll never be part of a triad. Threesomes may be the norm, but Raine is not willing to share.

Aiden is different too. Born with a club foot, he was barely tolerated by his pack. Rejected, alone, he ends up right in the path of Gabriel, whose entire focus is on finding someone else. Now they each have two bond marks, and Raine finds himself part of a triad he never wanted. Can Aiden and Gabriel prove to him that a wolf can love two mates equally, or will they lose him to the allure of the wild and a fear he cannot tame?

Tuesday Update!

Hi everyone! The past two nights I keep hearing something in my ceiling. I thought it was a rat at first but then it sort of sounded like it might be running on the roof not on the inside of the attic. I heard it again and I still have no clue what it is. I did go around the house today and check for any space that a creature could get in. I found two spots that I shoved so much steel wool into if it’s inside it’s there for good now LOL. It’s very unnerving to hear something above you at 3 AM so hopefully this fixes it.

I’ve been working on a short for an anthology that will then be part of a series. It’s about two men that are obsessed with weather. One is a climatologist and the other is an atmospheric scientist. After a run in with a tornado they decide California has enough weather for them to study and not worry quite so much. I’m not sure when I’ll start the series, but it’s been great meeting the characters. And I also need to start my Foggy Basin Christmas short!!! Those are always fun to write.

I rereleased the second Valley Ghosts book, Ghost Haunted in German. So if you’re a German reader the third book will be coming soon and the rest soon to follow.

Welcome to the Weekend!

Hi everyone! I’m happy to say this is the LAST weekend I have to go to my parents property. We hired a company to haul off everything that was too big for us to handle and had them deep clean the house. I cannot believe how hard it is to get the smell of smoke and general funk out of a house. Hopefully this did the trick. And now I can start deep cleaning my own house because I am getting rid of everything I can.

All of the Foggy Basin books are now live and I’ll be reading every one of them. We’ve been so busy getting our books out I haven’t had the time, but now I will and I’m excited to read them. Then of course we’ll be moving on to our Christmas shorts. I’m not sure how many are participating in the Christmas series but we’ll know soon.

I’m currently still working on a short story for an anthology then after that I’m not sure if I’ll write my Foggy Basin Christmas short or if I’ll finish the two other books I have started LOL.

My husband has collected a LOT of books from my parents house. There are probably close to 1000. He plans to donate them to the little libraries all over the place. I love that part, but not so much the part of them filling my garage.

Auf der Suche nach Isaac: Serie Foggy Basin 2

https://books2read.com/DEIsaac

Jack Hulbert has worked at the hardware store Nuts and Bolts since he was sixteen. He had big dreams of leaving town and traveling, but five years later, not much has changed, and he worries he’ll end up living the rest of his life in the small town he was born in.

Hudson Carter has been working in Sacramento for the past ten years, managing a big box store. He left Foggy Basin for college in the city and he never once looked back. His parents have owned the hardware store in town for two generations, and he’d hoped to avoid the same fate, but when his father tells him his plans to either sell the store or close it, he has a change of heart.

Hudson has been single for years, and a few bad breakups have left him jaded about finding the perfect partner. But he’s not prepared for the cute, and much younger man who knows far more than he does about running the hardware store and isn’t afraid to tell him. It’s time for this city boy to embrace his country roots and find out what really matters in his life, and a certain country boy is more than willing to help. #age gap, #city/country, #workplace romance, #small town romance

Since being thrown out of his home by his parents, Caden has been struggling to survive on the streets. He lives in constant fear, stresses over his next meal, and dreads trying to find a safe place to sleep at night. He eventually finds an unlocked car and settles in to sleep, but is soon interrupted when someone steals the car. With little choice but to ride along, Caden soon learns that first impressions aren’t always correct.

Seventeen-year-old Damario has been raising his little brother and sister by himself since his parents were deported. He never knew how hard it was going to be paying the bills and making sure there was always food on the table. Or how hard it would be to hold his family together when they all depended on him to do it. He finds himself stealing cars to make ends meet, but he never expected to find someone sleeping in the back of one of them. And he really didn’t expect this stowaway to change his life.

When Damario brings Caden home, it was supposed to be just for a shower and a hot meal, but he can hardly kick him out onto the streets again. There is no way he could have seen that by saving Caden that night, he was also saving himself. When Damario’s world starts to fall apart, they both realize that the answer to all of their problems is helping each other, and although the world tries to drive them apart, they really are better together.

Axis, Ezzy, and Roman, three friends pulled part by bitter words, spent seven years apart before reconciling at last years Pride Camp, where they also met Mackenzie, who proved to be the perfect Daddy for two littles and an extremely protective pup.

From weekend camping trips, to bouncing through leaf piles, their time together is filled with amazing adventures, campfire songs, grubby fingers, and enough body heat to keep each other warm as the days grow colder.

Unfortunately, there are still some things that even spiced cider and s’mores can’t fix.

Tuesday Update!

Hi everyone! The last two Foggy Basin books will be released this week. I can’t believe it’s over so soon. We really have had a lot of fun working as a group and next year we’ll be back! Maybe with some new authors and with totally new projects in the Foggy Basin world. Right now Guy Veryzer is working on the audiobook of Herds and Hooves so hopefully it’ll be out soon!

Anyone here from York UK that’s going to Rainbow Bookfest? If you are and you don’t have your ticket yet, email me. I have two tickets that I would love to give to someone attending.

I think I mentioned I had gotten rights back to The Valley Ghosts Series in German. Well I have republished Ghost Hunted and hope to get the others up soon! I’ll link it below.
