Tuesday Update (Barely!)

Hi everyone! I KNEW I needed to do my newsletter yesterday and somehow managed to forget to do it. I have two great sales this week if you love paranormal romance. I also have another translation release, and Guy Veryzer just finished Herds and Hooves on audio. It’s been a busy week already and I really have no clue why. I’m going to post my yearly Halloween Book Box hopefully on Thursday. I’m only able to offer it until September 21 because I leave on September 23. I’ll open it again when I get back but that’s not until October 19. I’m not sure if I’ll post it to TikTok shop or only on my PayHip store. Most likely it will only be on my PayHip store.

I got my paperback copies of Herds and Hooves today they turned out so good! I also ordered a few copies of the Vallely Ghosts collection 1 and 2. They are HUGE. I’m actually shocked how chonky they are, but I love it.

Welcome to the Weekend!

Hi everyone! It’s my first weekend of not having to go to my parents house!!! I really cannot even express how happy I am to not have to go there for a few weeks. I’m one of those people if I need to do something I do it, but afterwards I wonder how the heck I got through it. Going there every week feels that way. I had to put most of my writing projects on hold for five months and now I’m swamped with that. But its a good busy. I’ve missed writing everyday and working on the next project and now I can. At least for the next few weeks then I’ll be going to RARE in Florence Italy! After that we’re headed to Rainbow Bookfest in York UK. I still have two tickets to Rainbow Bookfest, if anyone is attending email me for tickets.

In case you didn’t notice, ALL the Foggy Basin books are out, and now we’re thinking about the Christmas shorts. The Foggy Basin bunch has a lot more to say and more adventures to experience, so come along for the ride. I have two books I started early in the year that I need to finish, but I really want to write something paranormal. Probably from watching more paranormal and horror movies lately. I watched The Lady in the Yard…meh. It wasn’t what I expected at all and its my least favorite kind of story where its all show no content and even the show wasn’t all that great LOL. I watched the golf series with Will Ferrill, The Hawk, it was wild and funny.

Tuesday Update!

Hi everyone! The past two nights I keep hearing something in my ceiling. I thought it was a rat at first but then it sort of sounded like it might be running on the roof not on the inside of the attic. I heard it again and I still have no clue what it is. I did go around the house today and check for any space that a creature could get in. I found two spots that I shoved so much steel wool into if it’s inside it’s there for good now LOL. It’s very unnerving to hear something above you at 3 AM so hopefully this fixes it.

I’ve been working on a short for an anthology that will then be part of a series. It’s about two men that are obsessed with weather. One is a climatologist and the other is an atmospheric scientist. After a run in with a tornado they decide California has enough weather for them to study and not worry quite so much. I’m not sure when I’ll start the series, but it’s been great meeting the characters. And I also need to start my Foggy Basin Christmas short!!! Those are always fun to write.

I rereleased the second Valley Ghosts book, Ghost Haunted in German. So if you’re a German reader the third book will be coming soon and the rest soon to follow.

Welcome to the Weekend!

Hi everyone! I’m happy to say this is the LAST weekend I have to go to my parents property. We hired a company to haul off everything that was too big for us to handle and had them deep clean the house. I cannot believe how hard it is to get the smell of smoke and general funk out of a house. Hopefully this did the trick. And now I can start deep cleaning my own house because I am getting rid of everything I can.

All of the Foggy Basin books are now live and I’ll be reading every one of them. We’ve been so busy getting our books out I haven’t had the time, but now I will and I’m excited to read them. Then of course we’ll be moving on to our Christmas shorts. I’m not sure how many are participating in the Christmas series but we’ll know soon.

I’m currently still working on a short story for an anthology then after that I’m not sure if I’ll write my Foggy Basin Christmas short or if I’ll finish the two other books I have started LOL.

My husband has collected a LOT of books from my parents house. There are probably close to 1000. He plans to donate them to the little libraries all over the place. I love that part, but not so much the part of them filling my garage.

Hi everyone! Welcome to the weekend. I have another busy one. Last night our new pet possum decided to come inside again. NO it’s not a pet and I have no clue why they come into our house LOL. My dog is old so by the time she sees them she think’s its a friend. Here’s a picture, they’re very cute and not at all aggressive, BUT I like them much better outside.

I need to write a short story by the end of the month for an anthology and I will FINALLY have time to write more since we’re hiring a cleaning company to deep clean the bathrooms and kitchen at my parents house. Hi everyone, I have finished Herds and Hooves and am now editing it! Nothing like last minute and I hate it!!!! I really cannot wait to have my time back and not deal with so many other things. That being said I don’t have an update for The Do Over, BUT next week I will for sure.
